Akerrvlke (Learning Along)
Akerrvlke is our monthly language meeting for second-language learners to come together and practice speaking Mvskoke, build confidence, connect with other learners, and interact with invited first-language speakers.
All skill levels are welcome! Whether you are just beginning your language journey or are already able to hold conversations, Akerrvlke provides an opportunity to continue strengthening your speaking skills alongside others.

Eligibility:

Be a Muscogee (Creek) Nation citizen or Heritage Learner

Be a second-language learner who’s interested in increasing their language skills.

*Bring an MCN Citizenship Card or CDIB for verification

11th Annual Mvskoke Spelling Bee
Put your Mvskoke spelling skills to the test! The Mvskoke Language Program and Eufaula-Canadian Tribal Town invite students to participate in the 11th Annual Mvskoke Spelling Bee Competition.

Saturday, October 31, 2026 | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Eufaula Indian Community Center

The competition includes one division for students ages 13 and older. Prizes will be awarded to the top three spellers:

First place: $300

Second place: $200
-
Third place: $100
Who can compete? Students only. Employees of any Mvskoke or Seminole language program and individuals who teach the language are not eligible to participate.
